Tapalpa, Jal.

This house in Tapalpa feels like a natural embrace, a structure born directly from the mountain to blend seamlessly with the surrounding forest landscape. From the outside, a large rustic stone wall stands out, lending it a solid and grounded character. This is complemented by concrete foundations and a dark steel structure supporting warm wooden ceilings, giving the whole a modern yet incredibly welcoming feel. The entire building seems to rest gently on the land, offering spacious terraces that invite contemplation of the surroundings and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

Inside, the design is all about light and openness. The enormous floor-to-ceiling windows eliminate barriers with the outdoors, making the pine trees and majestic mountain views a part of everyday life, whether from the living room with its stone fireplace or from the bedroom.
