PVA house
Guadalajara, Jalisco

There are houses that impose themselves on the ground and houses that learn to float above it in a silent embrace. This residence is born from a poetic premise: it raises its mass above the earth to become a pavilion of air and shadow, a refuge where the boundaries of daily life dissolve into nature.
On the ground floor, the architecture abandons solidity to become a whisper. The large windows disappear completely within the walls, opening the spaces wide to the damp grass, the afternoon breeze, and the aromas of the garden. Under the shelter of a warm wooden ceiling that extends outwards, the living and dining rooms exist on a continuous threshold where interior and exterior are one and the same.
